1. From your Magicflix dashboardFrom your MagicFlix dashboard, go to your profile section.
    Click the "Platform App Keys" tab.
    Find LinkedIn and click "Developer Portal".
  2. You will be taken to the LinkedIn Developer platform (https://www.linkedin.com/developers/apps)
    1. Login to your developer account and click on “Create App”
    2. Start by adding the app name
    3. Add your company name, you can add the name and LinkedIn will find your account, or you can add the link to your account directly
    4. Add the privacy policy URL
    5. Add your logo
    6. Check the “I have read and agree to these terms "I have read and agree to these terms” option.
    7. Finally click on “Create App”
    8. You will be taken to the Products tab
    9. Request access to “Share on LinkedIn” and “Sign In with LinkedIn using OpenID Connect” This will allow Magicflix to post on your behalf.

       
  3. Go back to to MagicFlix
     
    1. Head to your profile, under “Platform App Credentials”
    2. Find Linkedin, and click on the Step-by-step Guide
    3. You will find your LinkedIn Callback URL copy it and go back to linkedIn
    4. In your LinkedIn developer account go to the “Auth” tab.
    5. Find the “OAuth 2.0 settings” section.
    6. Click the pen icon to edit it, then paste your Callback url.
    7. Click on Update.
    8. Scroll back to the top.
    9. Find the “Client ID” and “Primary Client Secret” copy them and head back to MagicFlix
    10. In your MagicFlix profile, under Platform App Keys, find LinkedIN
    11. Then paste the “Client ID” and “Primary Client Secret” keys in their respective fields.
    12. Finally Click on “Save Credentials”
  4. Head to the “Connected Channels” tab, Find LinkedIn, and click on Connect

     
  5. Click allow to give Magicflix the required permissions

     
  6. Your account should now be connected
