MagicFllix 2: How do I connect my X/Twitter account?

  1. From your Magicflix dashboardFrom your MagicFlix dashboard, go to your profile section.
    Click the "Platform App Keys" tab.
    Find X and click "Developer Portal".
  2. You will be taken to the X Developer platform (https://console.x.com/)
    1. Login to your developer account and click on “Create App”
    2. Add your Application Name, and pick Production for the Envirenment.
    3. Then click “Create”, a new window will appear just close it for now.
    4. Click on your App, and click on Settings
  3. Go back to MagicFlix
    1. Under your profile > Platform App Credentials
    2. Find X and go to the step-by-step guide.
    3. In step 6 and 7 you will find the callback URL and the Website URL respectively.
    4. Copy them both and go back to your X developer account.
    5. For the app permissions select Read and write
    6. For the type of app select “Web App, Automated App“
    7. Add your callback URL and website URL.
    8. Click “Save Changes”
    9. Your Client ID and your Client Secret will be generated, Copy them both.
  4. Go back to MagicFlix, under your profile, in the “Connected Channels” tab, find X and click “Connect”
  5. Click “Authorize App” to give Magicflix the required permissions
  6. Your account should now be connected.
